Tis' the season of sugar cookies, Christmas markets, festive cheer, aaaand likely a long to do list of things to get ready for the holidays.
Today I want to drop in and remind you that this is just a holiday. It's not life or death.
If the tree isn't just perfect, or you run out of cookies, or the mash potatoes are lumpy. Everything is still going to be okay. This season shouldn't be about perfection, or a hustle to get everything done before the break.
It should be a time of connection, joy, and the magical anticipation of miracles.
Now I know if I received this note just two years ago, I would have been like, yeah I don't have time for this. In fact, I probably wouldn't have even opened this email. But if you're here and reading this you have the space to be open to miracles this season. And I want you to BELIEVE IT TO BE TRUE!
So instead of focusing on all the shoulds and must do's...
- take a deep breath -
....and remember you matter too. Your happiness, your joy and your sanity should be at the top of YOUR list. Take time to do you and find your holiday spirit because this year I'm giving you permission to get FESTIVE AF.
