Born into a creative family in Pietrasanta, a little town and international art colony in Tuscany, Italy, Matia Lia Baroni has always been surrounded by all types of artisanal and artistic creativity, from marble carving, clay, painting and bronze casting. This artistic background combined with traveling around the world, has been the main and constant inspiration that shaped her eyes and hands.
Each piece is conceived, designed and sculpted entirely by hand in jewelers wax by Matia Lia Baroni herself. All of her pieces are then cast and refinished in New York City by her and renowned goldsmith artisans.
