Apologies for the radio silence the past few weeks 'Feel Greaters' but it's been a crazy few weeks of family visits, busy days at work, and the sun being in the sky (meaning getting out in the fresh air for as many walks as possible)
This past week I visited family in the Isle of Man and it was great to catch up with so many friends and family (so good for the soul after being locked out of the country for 16 months due to COVID)
and it was also quite a difficult time with older relatives reaching the end of their lives...but 98 is a pretty good innings (be expecting a future post on the resilience of the 'older generations' in the near future.
One real highlight was taking a walk with my parents to see the sunset across the Irish sea - it is so true that the best things in life are free.
There is something special about the daily rising and setting of the sun - an opportunity to really think about our place in the universe, accomplishment, and making the most of these 24 hours we have on earth each day (yes we do get the sun the odd time through the clouds here in Manchester too..)
Here are a few pics and a video from the sunset, I hope you enjoy and get the chance to enjoy appreciate the next one you see too ✌
