I want to talk to you about vision. "The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision" -Helen Keller. Vision has a couple of definitions: 1. The faculty or state of being able to see; 2. The ability to think about or plan the future with imagination and wisdom. Most people have the 1st definition of vision. Do you want the 2nd definition? It is yours for the taking, but only if you want it enough to improve your life. Does a vision of any sort exist in your mind regarding your future days, months, or years? If so, great, you are on the right track. If not, realize to create a life worth living, you must have a vision first. You must give thought to it often and achieve even small tasks toward this vision. What have you given thought to? Until this point, your life results from your thoughts and actions. "As you think, so shall you be." -Wayne Dyer. I understand you have programmed yourself to think in specific ways. By now, it is automatic; you do it without any effort. Is this program you call your life serving you and your best interest? Having a vision and taking action other than your current circumstances is always an option. You do not have to run the same program for the rest of your life. Your life is in your hands only. It all boils down to expectations. What do you expect to happen in your life? Your expectation sets the tone of any experience, and we often get what we expect. Having a vision with a better expectation will achieve better results.
Consequently, everything is better when your life is in a positive light; your mental and physical health, work, relationships, along with everything else. You may have obstacles, and everything may not go as planned, but you will rise above these situations and prevail; it is the nature of a vision. Have one that excites and delights and at the same time gives a little fright. You can transform your life, reprogram your mind and body, and wake up to possibilities, but only with continued effort. This is the magic of your life, a creative process in your hands.
Sometimes, we must approach tasks in different manners to understand the concept. Let us look at this from another angle. Anything ever created was first thought. This vision was considered consistently, with many actions taken to achieve the result until it was a reality. It has been proven time and again. Look at how many different types of products and services exist today and from the beginning of time. You can do whatever you put your mind to. Your mind is that powerful. You can achieve outstanding results with persistent thought and action. Think with the end in mind. Reverse engineer your life; start with a vision that puts a smile on your face and warmth in your heart. It can be your happy place you can see with your mind's eye. How do you see your future self? Develop a vision, take steps toward its reality, and let your mind do the rest. Your life depends on it!
