I am a registered dietitian nutritionist with a background in public health, sports, and intuitive eating. I grew up in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where I went to Lehigh University. After college, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia where I pursued my Master’s of Public Health from Emory University. Four years later, received my Master’s of Science in Nutrition from Georgia State University. I currently live in Denver, Colorado, and enjoy hiking and exploring all the city has to offer with my fiancé and pup!
My interest in nutrition began in college when I decided to take my health into my own hands. I read all about the “healthiest” foods, drinks, and workouts, and which foods to avoid to optimize my health. However, my reliance on unverified nutrition facts and fads led me to restriction, stress about food and exercise, and disordered eating. This mindset persisted for years. It wasn’t until I learned about intuitive eating and exercise, and body acceptance that my vision changed, not only for my own health, but in how I help others.
My experiences and education provide me with the insight to help you navigate your journey to a sustainable relationship with food, exercise and your body.
In my practice, I also specialize in sports nutrition. I enjoy working with athletes to help them fuel their bodies properly. I also know, however, that when sports are mismanaged, they can lead to disrupted relationships with food. I'm here to help with this as well.
